CYNTHIA DAWLEY WINS PRAISE OF COLLECTORS AT GALLERY RECEPTION

In her latest collection of oils, Cynthia has included new shore scenes that allow her to emphasize the beauty of a sunlit sky, or the ever-changing color and mood of the water. An outstanding painting, a New England harbor scene, titled "Harbor at Twilight," is an excellent example of the artist's skill in handling light, movement, and mood.

Cynthia also continued her very successful Elizabethan Garden series with outstanding images such as "Girl Reading in the Garden," and "Sunlit Fountain" which are fabulous paintings. Cynthia's use of light and color, with the theme of the innocence of childhood, works well in these paintings. "Sunlit Fountain" is also available as a very limited edition of twenty-five giclees.

Other outstanding paintings in the show include images of New York as well as a stunning landscape of the Baltusrol Golf Club titled "Day at the Open."
